A commission which involved the re-modelling of the entire rear elevation of a late Edwardian dwelling. Conceived as truly contemporary design response, the zinc clad exterior acts as a complimentary material adjunct to the traditional Edwardian palette of red facing brick and clay roof tile.
Internally, the removal of cellular cross walls has allowed an open plan space more conducive to modern living, with a first floor mezzanine level adding volume and spatial drama.
