93 Marine Avenue occupies a prominent position on one of Whitley Bay's most prestigious streets.

The development brief from the client was to undertake a complete refurbishment and remodelling of the entire property. Although the existing building had presence and character, it was felt that the rear elevation lacked presence and did not maximise views over the generous rear garden. Subsequent extensions to the property at both ground and first floor have provided both aesthetic and spatial quality to the residence. The inclusion of a large green frame oak orangery leading to an open plan kitchen dining area ensure the property now connects to the landscape garden. First floor additions have allowed large bathrooms and dressing room areas, in addition to a new heated garage block. The inclusion of bespoke designed entrance gates and new boundary wall provide security and a consistency of design approach.
