A rural site outside of the village settlement boundary, this bespoke dwelling provided many challenging obstacles throughout the planning process, resulting in developing the foundation footprint of a previous development.

The scheme, confined to this footprint, allows for some exciting opportunities. The entrance hall is awash with natural light flowing through a the triple height void, permeating into spaces such as a cantilevered reading space. Large openings offer uninterrupted views over the surrounding countryside whilst creating light open spaces with a direct connection to the landscape.
