Unique development within a listed walled garden to create a large 5 bedroom house and restore the gardens within the grounds of Newton Hall. Pod worked closely with Northumberland County Council and the Conservation Officer to create a scheme to convert the existing dilapidated greenhouse and potting sheds into living accommodation. In addition the client wanted to utilise the centre of the garden which would usually be contrary to planning policy. The modern entertainment wing utilises the sites existing topography with the garden wrapping over the new build element and a retractable glass roof allowing access to the garden. Planning and Listed Building Consent have been granted.
