After successfully wining an open competition, POD began developing concepts with a steering group devised to help assist the day to day requirements of staff and departments. This relationship between the departments underpinned the design, offering up the challenge of creating a free flowing movement route through the linear building that avoiding a hierarchy of spaces and management.

The concept of an urban street with all departments opening up onto and allowing movement through was embellished and developed acting as a catalyst for communication within the company. The development showcases the existing structure of the 1920's Art Deco building whilst carefully providing a new contemporary fabric that provides exciting new spaces and places for the staff to work, relax and meet.
