Working as part of strong collaborative design team, Pod have been able to address the need for contemporary social housing within a remote rural location incorporating a strong local vernacular. Engaging with the local planning authority at the outset proved an invaluable process, developing strong relationships and working together to deliver 11 dwellings that display a unique character.
The development boasts a rich palette of materials including natural stone and copper cladding offset by hard and soft landscaping to create a modern, high quality, durable environment.

An inventive re-organisation of the parking requirements has allowed the introduction of a community area at the heart of the scheme. The vibrant space includes a designated bbq area, seating and play space with hard and soft landscaping.
